The Bose brand is known for its engineering strength. And also for its shades of grey and black. Form did not always follow function, impacting new customer consideration and acquisition. For this transformation challenge, we asked ourselves – ”Can we reshape market perception, and drive social sentiment, by reimagining the experience possibilities on Bose’s world class pinnacle product?” 

 

THE SOLVE

The team took ambitious “what if?” pole positions in every project phase, a perpetual beta mentality, throughout the product design process – from a paid POC, through to code and design sprints, to support a product customization program.

THE IMPACT

The product design principles allowed the 
multi-disciplinary teams to come up with a buzz worthy, differentiated product customization experience that shifted market and brand perception in this category.
